Miriam Isman is an Associate at Sugden, McFee & Roos. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, she clerked at the British Columbia Court of Appeal, and worked as an associate at a national law firm.
Miriam obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and a law degree from the University of Victoria. During law school, she was Vice President of the Law Students' Society, Business and Public Relations Manager for the student law journal, and coach of the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court competition. Upon graduation, she received the McIntyre Medal, a prize awarded for exemplary dedication to community service, student leadership, and academic excellence over the course of the Juris Doctor program.
Miriam has a broad litigation practice that includes both civil and criminal law. She has appeared as junior counsel in all levels of court in British Columbia.
